Online Consultation
Online Consultations are FREE of charge, this allows me to get an Idea of the horse/pony I will be seeing. They also allow me to understand wether I can meet your requirements.
Online Consultations Include, An In-depth conversation including asking your horses Name, Age, Colour, Breed, Height, Vetinary History (if Any), Behavioural Information such as Bucking, rearing, napping, kicking and biting. The horses Last physio appointment with details of how the appointment went, your yard address and how long you have owned your horse.
The consultation will also answer any questions you may have regarding the appointment.
Saddle Fitting Appointment
The Saddle Fitting appointment in itself is a process that takes between 45 minutes to an hour. During this time I will do an 8 Part saddle fitting assessment, which incudles:
A Back assessment, Condition scoring, Conformation assessment, Gait Analysis, Chalk Markings, Templating, Static assessment and Dynamic assesment.
All parts of the assessments will be In-depth and carried out to the best possible level.
If Your saddle is not the correct fit for your pony I can recommend saddles that could work for your horse or pony.
Flocking
Saddle flocking is the process of adjusting or replacing the wool (or synthetic fiber) stuffing inside the panels of an English saddle. The flocking provides cushioning between the horse’s back and the saddle tree, helping distribute the rider’s weight evenly and ensuring comfort for both horse and rider. Over time, flocking can become compacted, uneven, or lumpy, so saddles need reflocking or spot adjustments to maintain proper fit, prevent pressure points, and support the horse’s performance.
